I love, love, looooooove Zombie Love. It's a short (about 40 minutes long), and I really hope that Van Berckelaer goes on to fulfill her dream of creating a full-length movie based on the concept. I mean, what's there not to like? Zombie romance! Song and dance! Cheesy humor! Some gore! I think I'm girl-crushing.
(I'm definitely guy-crushing, too. Oh, Dante. <3)
What makes this film especially gush-worthy, for me, is the fact that (humorously or not), the plot's about a zombie/human romance that ends positively. Dante (the zom) is in full control of his faculties. Claudia (the girl) is fully aware of Dante's status as a zombie, but is still interested in him. How cute is that? We need more of this! Moar!
